Biography

He Wei, Associate Chief Physician of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery and Attending Physician in Aesthetic Surgery, is the former Director of the Department of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery at the Second People's Hospital of Hunan Province and Associate Professor at Hunan University of Chinese Medicine, and a forensic clinical appraiser. He was a visiting scholar at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Yonsei University in South Korea; he studied under renowned Asian plastic surgery masters Professors Cao Renchang, Zhuo Kuanzhe, Liu Daxuan, Xiong Liangjian, and others. In China, he pursued further training in plastic and aesthetic surgery at Ruijin Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Huashan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, Shanghai Changzheng Hospital, and the Medical Aesthetic Center of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. He has been engaged in clinical practice, teaching, and scientific research in plastic and aesthetic surgery for more than 20 years.
